The Southwest Texas Fusion Center (SWTFC) is an all-threat/all-hazard center for information sharing and public safety analysis, collaborating with regional and national stakeholders through-out the greater San Antonio area and the south Texas Region.
Public Safety personnel must consider a wider variety of threats and hazards than the tradi-tional focus of past strategies, including threats to key resources (such as food, agriculture and water) and to critical infrastructure (such as energy, transportation and telecommunications). Using intelligence-led policing strategies, the SWTFC engages in information gathering and data analysis to develop actionable intelligence for use by its partners. Whether addressing local crime reduction issues or supporting national efforts to safeguard our homeland, the SWTFC is uniquely situated to respond to contemporary crime problems and more accurately predict future threat trends.

FLO’s serve as direct contacts at the local level and key points of reference to stakeholders throughout the SWTFC region. FLO’s may be law enforcement officers and analysts, other emergency services employees, or private sector stakeholders who have been certified through the SWTFC FLO training program. In order to become a FLO for the SWTFC, you must complete the following:
